 On a busy street in Russia, a pair of level-headed comrads stop to humor a nut-case and wind up zapping themselves to another planet. It's a miserable place. All gray sky and empty sand. Ah well.
Some drifters in a crappy, beat-to-shit conveyance pass by and they bum a ride. As the endless desert drifts below, they learn the ropes: stay calm, scrounge around and grovel.
In the gulag-esque economy, worthless commodities--like matches--figure big. Their only hope of getting home is their dwindling supply. They keep smoking anyway. It's wry social commentary wrapped up as science fiction.

 Juliette Lewis, extra slutty, just the way you like her. Tricked out for a scene in the film, Strange Days, Juliette slinks into a hot, live version of "Hardly Wait," a song just begging to be treated dirty.
